Current Unit

We are currently working on our unit about the changing Earth. We have been focusing on fossils, continental drift, plate tectonics, and the interior of the Earth.

5/13 - Forensic Science Overview
5/11 - 5/12 - Soil and Water Experiment - Grade will be recorded.
5/9 - 5/10 - Final Review Scavenger Hunt - Grade will be recorded.
5/5 - 5/6 - Students completed Systems - Hurricane. (Grade will be recorded.)
5/3 - 5/4 - Students began work on Systems - Hurricane. Viewed film about the formation of these huge storms, as well as the damage they can cause. Then, students chose activities to complete that reinforced the concepts. (Grade will be recorded.)
4/27, 4/29, 5/2 - Students were introduced to science fair scenario. In groups, students create a question correlated with the activity. Then the students began researching their topic. (Grade will be recorded.)
4/25 - 4/26 - Students learned about forensic science. Students completed an activity where they deduced the criminal in a scenario using clues and discussion. (Grade will be taken).
